She implies that he was depressed and always anxious prior to his death.
Omawunmi, the wife of late Nigerian artist Mohbad, has resorted to Instagram to mourn her husband, who died yesterday, Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
She detailed the timeline of their relationship in a series of Instagram postings, emphasizing that they had been together for ten years. She revealed that their kid Liam was only 5 months old on the day Mohbad died.

Omowunmi went on to say that her late spouse was continuously in agony and had lost his spark before dying. She also stated that unidentified individuals were leading a smear campaign against him, calling him names. Addressing the nameless people, she urged them to accept their victory, claiming that they wanted him dead.

“This ni**a struggled until death, too many pains, he has always lived with fears, continuous fights everywhere he goes,” she explained. He’s never been happy for an entire day. He was labeled a Junkie, a crazy guy with mental disorders, so that the public would have a different opinion of him. He’s no longer alive, but you won, so grab your trophy. Olorun Idajo re ooo, you made me a widow at the age of 24.”
The 24-year-old said that after the birth of their son Liam, the singer got more paranoid and was constantly afraid. She mentioned that he wanted her and their son to evacuate for their own safety, implying that he was being pursued.

“Nothing makes him happy any longer, and even after seeing his baby, he got more concerned; he was a family man who didn’t want anything to happen to us… I was meant to pick up my baby’s passport yesterday so that we could begin our journey. He would always tell me, “Wunmi, please go for the sake of my baby, I wouldn’t want these people to harm you and him, it would break me…you just go, let them face them themselves,” she continued.

Moving on, she pleaded for aid, pleading with everyone to assist her since she couldn’t handle the anguish on her own. Wunmi emphasized that she would not wish her pain on anyone, and that Mohbahd had been a wonderful partner and a fantastic father to their son, who would now grow up without him.
Although it is unknown when the singer and his girlfriend married, she stated in her post that he provided her the wedding of her dreams.

She mentioned in this post that they were married.
