The popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY has reacted to the fire outbreak that gutted his home in Lagos State.
AY, who assured his fans and well-wishers that he and his family were safe and unharmed after the fire incident, said that what is important is his family and God and that everything else comes and goes.
Reports of the fire incident in AY’s Lagos home which circulated on the internet had sparked concerns over the well-being of the comedian and his family.
But reacting to the incident in a recent statement, AY Makun expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support and concern from his fans.
“Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few,” he said.
He also assured everyone that he and his family had safely evacuated the premises and are out of harm’s way.
