Al-Hilal woo Messi with €400m yearly contract

Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian Club have wooed Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi, with a huge deal worth €400 million annually.

This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday night.

According to him, the salary on the table for Messi is worth more than $438 million per year.

However, Messi is believed to be keen on continuing his career in Europe, with Barcelona waiting on Financial Fair Play to bring him back.

Romano tweeted: “Understand Al Hilal sent an official bid to Leo Messi: salary worth more than €400m/year.

“Leo’s absolute priority: continue in Europe. Barcelona, waiting on FFP to send bid and open the long awaited talks.

“PSG bid, not accepted at this stage as Messi wants sporting guarantees.”

Should Messi accepts the offer from Al Hilal, he will be renewing his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo who already has 10 league goals for Al Nassr.
